This site will contain plenty of useful and un useful information about our project car. It's also in english so people from all over the world will be able

to follow our work if they want to.

Before we bought this project car we agreed that this is going to be a restomod. Renovating it to its original state is not an option for our economy and the fact that we do not want it to be an ugly grande again with black vinyl roof and all. And there are "some" rust... However, it will be in mint condition when done. More about our ideas under "Project goals".

2009 8 Workshop

Since there where no updates at all during 2008 it's now time to do something about it...

We haven't visited the garage for a long time for various reasons but now we are back! And still doing more work to the garage then the car :) That will change eventually...

Project goals

These are some of our current goals with this car but they will probably change during time :)

First of all we need to get the car road legal again so we will fix our current engine and postpone the decision of getting a new one or to modify the original. Here are some examples of what we are dreaming about...

  • Get rid of all the rust with blasting and rebuild the frame and body
  • Twin turbo
  • EFI
  • New engine internals to handle the increased power (stroked)
  • New brakes (especially the drums at the back)
  • New inter cooler of course
  • Lower and stiffen up the suspension a bit
  • Get a Mach 1 hood (ram air)
  • Roll bar
  • New front seats
  • 17 to 18 inch rims with preferable 8" in the front and 10-12" at the back
  • Loads of gauges
  • Massive ICE with 12 speakers, 11+ LCD-screens, 2 DVD's and 2 video games OR NOT! Definitely not! :)
